Details:
Easy hike, approximately 2 miles total
Begins on a paved path, crosses a boardwalk, and continues on a forest trail that is mostly level with some rocks and tree roots
Optional sack lunch afterward—there’s one picnic table at the parking lot, so consider bringing a folding chair if desired
Sturdy walking shoes are sufficient
Bring water and dress appropriately for the weather
If you are looking for authentic and meaningful conversation while hiking- that’s the goal. Every month the Unity Hiking group will plan a brisk less than 5-mile walking hike to enjoy with friends. Hikes will happen the 3rd Saturday of every month from March until October. Meet up will be at 8:30am at Total Wine and More in Olympia.
Please feel free to participate even if you do not want to hike. Bring a foldable chair and enjoy nature. We just ask you to use the buddy system and not be alone.
No RSVP needed.
