OU Men is an informal gathering of men who attend Unity of Olympia. The focus of the group is three fold; first is to share through spiritual growth, next is to be of service to our community and lastly to enjoy each other’s company doing fun things.

Through our sharing, learning, service and social activities we have the opportunity to get to know, at a deeper level, fellow Unity members. We provide a safe environment for building trust and lasting friendships. Please consider joining us, we would love to welcome you!

Our meetings are scheduled for the 2nd Wednesday of each month at 8:00am:

What do we do?

At each meeting we begin with prayer and then have a brief time of “check in” when attendees may share what is going on in their lives.

Spiritual growth is gained through the discussion of a particular book that is of interest to the group. At other timers we may just have a dialog on a topic that seems appropriate for the current times and/or issues facing us all.

Service to our community takes many forms and may include things like periodically helping provide the Sunday Coffee Time after church; helping to organize and set up the annual Circulation Day (free garage sale); participating in church work parties to beautify our building and grounds or other projects that our group may undertake to help make our community the very best it can be.

Social events are enjoyed in many ways such as our annual get together on the dock in August; or we may plan an outing to the car museum in Tacoma; or a trip to the Rainier’s or Mariner’s ball game.

What do we achieve?

Through our sharing, learning, service and social activities we have the opportunity to get to know, at a deeper level, fellow Unity members. We provide a safe environment for building trust and lasting friendships.
