Join licensed teacher Janet Rhodes on a journey of transformation as we prepare for the joyful exuberance that is Easter.  In this class, we will experience Lent in a more personal and practical way. That is, we look at the observances of fasting symbolically, spiritually, practically rather than literally. This is the way that Charles Fillmore taught: interpreting the practices of Lent metaphysically.

So…rather than to give up chocolate for 40 days or to climb the stairs than ride the elevator (as a dorm-mate of mine did – she lived on the 4th floor), we will look at ideas that Charles offers us, mull them over, discuss them, try them on, offer our own for discussion.

The bottom line of Lent is – if you think about it – letting go of the old view of self and rejoicing in the renewed awareness of yourself as a child of the Divine.  Come. Discuss. Celebrate. Meditate with us.
